I have downloaded the latest drivers voor this adapter (for Windows 7 X64), and then tried to update the drivers. Currently Linksys doesn't have the Drivers for these adapter for windows 7. As of now the only adapter which is compatible with Windows 7 is WMPN or WUSBN. May be you can try blogger.com and check if you can find the drivers for these adapter to work with Windows 7. The tip about unistalling Zonealarm made me think the problem might be with my antivirus Kaspersky Internet Security First I paused the protection but that didn't work so I unistalled Kaspersky and the adapter started working.
