I also have this problem. Last update, i was able to get the updated files from my wife's computer, but it seems that this time, neither one of our computers ff14 unable to download patch files 30413 update. I spent several hours yesterday trying to download the update patch, but there was no progress beyond MB.

We used to have tehkrizz, but he has since stopped playing FFXIV and no more updates can be found from him. However, i do not think that this is the case because i have experienced this problem in the past and usually one of my computers will download the update even though they are all on the same internet connection. Okay so nothing worked to solve my issue. It appeared as though packets were being lost mid-download and this would cause the patch to fail.
I used Cyberghost to connect using the free LA server and the problem went away. I am going to assume the patch server for some of us is taking a crappy route. It appears to get fixed using a free VPN I don't have lag while playing and never had to use one until now I assume people already using one, had no issues with the patch download.
